Remembrances

Today is a day we honor those who have fought for our freedom, including those who gave their lives in service, that we may experience the right to live and speak freely, create, evolve and become more and more aware and awake to what Life is and offers.

How often do you take a moment to appreciate the life you are living? the people who love you and you love? and the experiences you’ve had and the gifts and opportunities you have to contribute?

There’s a saying that, “you don’t appreciate what you have until its gone”.  That is the moto of this physical world in which we exist – where we know who we are by what we are not.  Where we’re taught to focus on what is lacking and requires improvement rather than what is and what is working well.  A world in which we often take good things for granted.

While we are all programed from birth, in one way or another, in North America and other parts of the world, we still have the freedom to make some choices. If we choose, we have the freedom to learn, open to new ideas, create, travel, and become more and more aware.  We have the freedom to awaken to our true gifts, who we truly are, and to build our goals and dreams.

For all of that, I am truly grateful.
