Extra Grace Required

One of the principles I sometimes share is “Extra Grace Required”. At this point it looks like we may be self-isolating for longer than first expected. That means more time with family, which can be phenomenal (1 way or the other). I recently heard a family law lawyer interviewed and she mentioned there is often a rise in number of couples separating after the Christmas holidays and expects it to be similar here. That’s where “extra grace required” can help. When we are frustrated, scared, anxious or worried, we may say or do things in a way that negatively impacts others. When that occurs, consider asking others to cut you a little slack. Say, “extra grace required” and then restate or amend your thoughts, words or actions. It may take courage yet you’ll be glad you did! Contact me if you’d like to know more: https://evewahn.com/contact/
